The clearest differentiator is that purchased residential traffic is documented as non-expiring. Residential proxies do not have a standard free trial for ordinary buyers; verified companies may request an Enterprise trial. Refund eligibility is narrow and product-specific. IPRoyal’s help center describes refunds for connectivity or service problems that support cannot resolve, plus limited subscription-renewal situations. Time and usage limits differ by product. Residential guidance states that refunds are unavailable after more than 100 MB of allocated data has been consumed.
