NetNut current status in 2026: what is confirmed

Author: ProxyBuyerGuide

Independent proxy comparison website. Facts checked July 31, 2026. No purchase or affiliate button is provided while the official domain displays an FBI seizure page.

Current status

Do not purchase or recommend NetNut while this status remains unresolved. On July 31, 2026, both the NetNut home page and pricing path displayed “Seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” ProxyBuyerGuide removed purchase buttons rather than sending readers to an unavailable or seized service.

Google Threat Intelligence Group reported on July 2, 2026 that, in coordination with the FBI, Lumen and others, it took action against the NetNut residential proxy network, also known as Popa. Google said the action significantly degraded the network and business operations. Historical prices and product claims are therefore not a current buying offer.

What has been reported

Google reported that it disabled Google accounts and services used by NetNut for malware command and control, shared technical intelligence with law enforcement and platform providers, and caused significant degradation to the proxy network. Google estimated the network at at least two million devices. These are Google’s findings; ProxyBuyerGuide did not conduct the investigation.

What the domain status proves — and does not prove

The checked NetNut home page and pricing URL display an FBI seizure notice. A visible seizure page is evidence that the domain is not operating as an ordinary provider storefront; it does not by itself establish the final outcome of any legal proceeding.

What existing customers can do

  • Do not send new payment, identity documents or account credentials through links claiming to restore NetNut access.
  • If you are an existing customer, preserve invoices, contracts, support correspondence and dashboard records.
  • Contact your payment provider or qualified legal adviser for transaction-specific questions; ProxyBuyerGuide cannot determine refund rights.
  • Rotate any credentials reused elsewhere and review infrastructure that depended on NetNut endpoints.
  • Re-evaluate replacement providers using current sourcing, compliance, pricing and availability evidence.

Historical claims and what ProxyBuyerGuide did not test

ProxyBuyerGuide did not independently benchmark this provider, audit its sourcing, investigate the reported conduct or determine the legal outcome. Old prices, pool-size statements, ratings and product descriptions are not presented as current facts.
